anyone here use any tools to convert a wordpress site to Kentico?

No. If you are simply taking your site from one site to another and not doing any design work or minimal content changes, you can use the rendered HTML as your "templates", then start implementing your page types and transformations.

Anyway, if there was a tool that converted it from XXX site/framework to Kentico, I'd go out on a limb and state I'm 99.9% sure it wouldn't take advantage of very many of the out of the box tools Kentico offered. So you'd essentially have a static website.

Hello Shraga,

Another possible way is to export data from Wordpress in XML format e.g. via PHPMyAdmin and then programatically parse the XML file and using Kentico API import data to Kentico.

I've done something similar for Kentico 7, so if you are interested to see some sample code, feel free to send email to support@kentico.com and address it directly to me.
