hadi tag asked on August 17, 2015 10:58

hi

i use from kentico 8.1 and i have many documents in CMS tree.

when i sort documents in listing ,do not sort all of documents and just top 25 document in first page of grid sorted.

Of course there is the problem in CMStree sorting ...

Is the hot fix has been created for this problem?

Isn't the Listing-view sort just for viewing? Do you want the order of the documents to change?

You can right click your node in the tree view and adjust sorting.

Hi David and thanks

I think you do not understand my question. The problem is that in listing view of documents, sort by date do not work exactly and unsorted documents to be displayed

Hi,

So just for viewing! Are you using Kentico 7 or 8? In Kentico 7 you can set the number of displayed items to ALL... In Kentico 8 it's limited to 100 max.

Hello, I have same problem in kentico 8.1. When I select some node and select listing mode I see a lot of document(in my case). Unigrid show my data in paging mode. when I trying sort by modifiedwhen column, unigrid just sort current page while unigrid should retrieve sorted data from DB and paging that.

You are right. In Kentico 8 the number of displayed items limited to 100 max. but if i want to sort grid rows with date column , grid just sort documents in current page(not for all documents)

Is not this a bug?

Hi,

I'm not sure if its a bug... or an intended feature. I'd say send a message to support@kentico.com !
