Provides instant messaging via Windows Live messenger. The web part can appear as a messenger window, a button or a status icon.

For the web part to be functional, you need to obtain a Messenger ID from the following address: http://settings.messenger.live.com/applications/CreateHtml.aspx

The ID is contained in the HTML code rendered at the bottom part of the page. Search the code for the "invitee" attribute. The key you are looking for is in the value of the attribute - it is the hexadecimal string before "@apps.messenger.live.com".

Once you are on the above mentioned page, you also need to switch to the Home page in the left menu and enable the "Allow anyone on the web to see my presence and send me messages" option.
