Here you can choose which accounts will be merged, based on their shared characteristics. In Kentico CMS, merging allows you to create parent objects, i.e. parent accounts, which cover child objects, i.e. accounts merged into the parent account. This can be useful if there is one company associated with several different accounts.
To merge accounts, select a criterion or a set of criteria by checking the respective check boxes (Contacts, Address, E-mail, Website URL, Phone & fax) and click Show. A list of suitable accounts is offered.
To merge all suggested accounts into the currently edited account click the Merge all button. Or select only some of the accounts and click the Merge selected button. In any event, the Merge collisions dialog window will be opened enabling you to set further parameters of the merge process.
