Here you can specify the layout of the template. You can use an existing shared layout or a custom layout that will be used only for this template.

 

You can also check out the layout to a file to edit the layout in any external application (editor). Once the layout is checked out, you can check it in so that any external changes to the file are reflected in CMS. You can also undo the check-out so changes won’t be taken into account.
