Delta Education is a leading publisher of the elementary school science curriculum in the United States. They sell hands-on science kits, readers, and other learning materials to K-8 educational institutions. From the homepage to the back end, BizStream updated the look and feel to be crisp, clean, and easy to navigate, and created custom Kentico API scripts to import product data from Excel spreadsheets and migrate existing data from the legacy platform. Integration with all external system touchpoints was developed to create a seamless user experience, no matter which combination of items they placed in their shopping cart, or their purchasing location. These capabilities required a custom checkout process that provided an individualized set of checkout steps, integration with Avalara for tax estimation services, custom shipping cost calculation business rules, and a custom payment gateway provider (Stripe). The site has experienced an increase in average order value by 10.87%, pages per session went up by 4.43%, and average session duration improved by 24.63%.

New Zealand
Kentico Gold Partner

Proppy is an online platform for buying and selling real estate. Proppy is the first licensed real estate agency in New Zealand to offer online property auctions, digital signing of legal documents, and the ability to complete a property transaction—all online. The goal of the project was to present a responsive site, scaled seamlessly, and, most importantly, make a very stressful, and potentially complex, auction process extremely simple. The website is integrated with AuctionWorx online auction software and scaled with Azure Web App. It was necessary to implement a seamless workflow, while meeting the legal requirements for a property sale. Even though the site is not currently multi-lingual, it is in the roadmap to add Chinese, and one of the reasons Kentico was chosen was that it would support that.

The Chef’s Garden
Implemented by thunder::tech

The Chef’s Garden has been delivering the finest culinary ingredients direct from their farm to restaurants for more than 30 years. In approaching the new website, they needed a site that not only properly reflected their brand, but included e-commerce to make it quick and easy for chefs to order the fresh ingredients they need. Thunder::tech also needed to transform a big amount of The Chef’s Garden legacy data to fit the new category structure. Their development team configured the database and Kentico so they seamlessly pass information back and forth, assuring that online customers have the latest and most up-to-date information on products. The User Experience team then designed a simple, intuitive interface and information hierarchy that made it fast and easy for users to navigate the site, find what they needed, and complete a transaction. The design heavily leveraged beautiful photography of the farm and the available products, putting the spotlight directly on the delicious growing greens and vegetables that are the signature of The Chef’s Garden.

Kentico Gold Partner

ROC van Amsterdam is a Dutch secondary vocational education provider with nine different study locations in the Amsterdam area with more than 27,000 students and 2,000 FTEs. Students can choose professional education from the almost 300 training/education courses available. The goals were to create a new website for both ROC of Amsterdam and ROC of Flevoland, where future students can orientate themselves in the study they want to sign up for, and the best college to attend for this study. A big challenge was to create these two websites (ROCvA and ROCvF) in one content tree, with parts of the content being the same for both sites, and parts of the content being different for each site. And not only is the content different for each site, but also the profile of the visitor after signing up is site-specific—making it possible to have an account on both sites with the same email address, but different passwords and different content. Another challenge was the creation of five tests on the website that helped students orientate in motivation, sector, competence, education, and school location. The ROC van Amsterdam website is mobile responsive and utilizes Kentico EMS Personalization.
