Brenden Kehren is now a Kentico MVP!

   —

Brenden Kehren is your newest Kentico MVP! Brenden is a long-time member of the Kentico development community as one of the most active members of DevNet. In 2014 he was recognized for efforts with the 2014 DevNet Hero award. Brenden also owns Kehren Development, a Kentico consulting company in Sparta, WI and works with several companies to implement Kentico.

I asked Brenden what his thoughts were on becoming part of the Kentico MVP Program.

What part of the MVP Program are you most excited about?

I'm most excited to learn from the other MVP's and developers in the community and more importantly to continue to share my passion for Kentico with others.

Many of our MVPs have a specialty or an area of the product they really like to talk about. What area are you most interested in speaking on and want people to know you are excited about?

Although most people think since he's a developer, his specialty must be coding but really my specialty is training and education.  A lot of the questions on the DevNet I provide feedback on I don't have the answers for.  Sometimes the documentation does, sometimes, I just have to go out and do a proof of concept and teach myself.  I want to talk with other developers and end users about best practices, standards and how to accomplish the same task in different ways, ways that may not be documented and understand what the pros and cons of each are.

What’s the best way for developers to reach to you if they have questions about Kentico or cheese?

If I don't answer your question on the DevNet Q & A, you can send a carrier pigeon because we're still on dial-up here in WI or you can:

Hello. I am a Technical Evangelist here at Kentico and will be helping the technical community by providing guidance and best practices for all areas of the product. I might also do some karaoke. We'll see how the night goes...
