“proc_CMS_Tree_InitNodeOrders” exception when moving documents in content tree

When moving documents in your content tree, using Up and Down arrows, you may encounter the following error message:

Failed to move the document: [DataConnectionExecuteQuery]: Query proc_CMS_Tree_InitNodeOrders: caused exception: String or binary data would be truncated. The statement has been terminated.

The ##PRODUCTLIST## macro uses a thread culture instead of shopping cart culture

If you use a template with the ##PRODUCTLIST## macro (for example an e-mail template or invoice) in your custom code, you will notice that it uses a thread culture instead of a shopping cart culture (ShoppingCartInfoObj.ShoppingCartCulture). You can follow this workaround to make it work correctly. This issue is fixed in version 6.0.

"Node class not found" error when emptying the recycle bin

If you empty the recycle bin, you can get the [VersionManager.GetVersion]: Node class not found error. It happens if you delete a document under a workflow, then you delete its document type and the document still appears in the recycle bin. If you try to delete the document permanently (empty the recycle bin), it throws that error message and you cannot delete the document.

ShoppingCartItemSelector does not work with DataSource and Basic datalist/Basic repeater

Document -> Design tab -> Edit layout (green cross) does not work

The second option in the menu on Design tab for the layout (green bar) uses a javascript function. But this function is only included on the page (by the PortalManager) if the layout has at least one CMSWebPartZone (yellow bar). If the layout doesn't have a CMSWebPartZone control yet, then the Edit layout option does not work.

Documents with no text field are always returned by SQL search method as results

If there is a document type with no text field (e.g. only Boolean fields) and you have some documents of this type in the content tree you get always these documents as Search result regardless of the expression you type in the Search box. This article will help you to fix this behavior.
