This article will show how to solve issues when using specific languages with special characters in document name or alias, which are leading to 404 Page not found errors.
The problem could be caused by system and IIS settings, please read below:

If you are using IIS 5.1/6 - you need to install appropriate language on the system and change the regional settings, so the IIS will be able to handle different character sets.

In IIS7/7.5 it should run fine by default, but you can try to set PageHandlerFactory-Integrated to "*", by default "*.aspx" is used. Or, you can try to change the application pool settings in IIS and the property "Managed Pipeline Mode" set to "Classic" instead "Integrated".
