Editable Image Visibility

Hi,

I'm using Kentico v7.0.26.

I have added an 'Editable Image' web part into one of my pages so that content editors can optionally add an image to the page.

I have added the following lines to the HTML Envelope section of the web part:

Content before:

<div class="image">

Content after:

</div>

I would expect the HTML envelope to only be rendered if an image has been selected, but that appears not to be the case. The HTML envelope is always rendered regardless of whether an image has been selected or not.

How can I hide the Web Part and/or HTML Envelope if no image is selected?

Certified Developer 12	kentico-jx2tech - 4/11/2013 7:52:28 PM RE:Editable Image Visibility Consider using the Image CSS class property of the Editable image web part. You can then use that class to style the image rather than using the additional markup in the HTML Envelope.

OK, fair enough.

But isn't this behaviour inconsistent with other web parts? All other web parts will hide the HTML envelope when they have no content.

Why is this one different?

HI there
For image editing,i usually do that using an image processor which supports to do any image processing issues.It would be more convenient if you own a fine third party image tool.You can also try to add an image tool to help you out.Most of the image tool offers a free trial for new users.You can have a try before you decided to own it.Best wishes.
