Hello Everyone, I am trying to login a user into kentico from an external non Kentico website. Could anyone let me know what would the best way to handle this

I have a webservice in place which has the Script which log's in the user in kentico which is used on the external site. But when i use the service on the external site and come into the kentico site it doesnt recognize the user is logged in.

I think i am missing something basic ? can anyone help me on this
