Could not load assenbly CMS.IECommerce, Version 5.5.3999.2019

When building website, I got this error: Error 102 Could not load file or assembly 'CMS.IECommerce, Version=5.5.3999.2019, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=834b12a258f213f9' or one of its dependencies. The parameter is incorrect. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070057 (E_INVALIDARG))

But in Bin directory, I already had this file CMS.IECommerce.dll, version 5.5.3999.2019.

Can someone tell me why this error occurs and how to fix it?

Hello,

Are you using the custom ecommerce provider (or any other custom assemblies)? If so, you need to rebuild the custom libraries again with references to new Kentico CMS dll files.

Using custom providers

You can also solve this issue by disabling custom E-commerce providers, if you do not use them.
