Licence error
I am trying to get into CMS desk however I get licence limitation error. When I look in event log I see the source as Editors. How can I remove this so that I can get in the CMS desk?

RE:Licence error
Hello,

In this case, you've probably exceeded maximum number of Editors allowed in the Free edition, which is only one editor...(list of limitations).
Please go to CMS Site manager (using ~/cmssitemanager url) and remove the extra editor(s) users or disable "IsEditor" property for that user(s)...

Regards,
Zdenek

RE:Licence error
I have plenty of users does that mean I have to go through each one? What is the option to upgrade my licence to avoid these sort of issues?

RE:Licence error
Hello.

You can query CMS_User table to see, who is marked as an editor and who does not.

As for license upgrade - yes, better license edition has no user number limits. For further details please send a message to sales@kentico.com. Thank you.

RE:Licence error
Hello,

I have managed to find the Editor and can get in the CMSDesk however when I go to my home page I get a message saying "Page can not be displayed due to licence limitations".

When I look in Event log it is saying 'Blogs' is the problem.

Thanks and regards,
Rupesh

RE:Licence error
Hello Rupesh,

It looks like you have exceeded the maximum number of allowed blogs with a free license, which is only one blog. You will need to remove the additional blogs from your site in order to access your home page.

RE:Licence error
Hi,

please send us an e-mail to support@kentico.com and refer to this forum thread. Write us also the domain name you are using - we will generate a time limited key for you which allows you to delete the blogs and then switch back to your previous license.

Best regards,

RE:Licence error
Hi,

I wish to use Document Library functionality. Is this available as part of free edition licence?

Hello,

Nope, the Document library feature is available just with the Document management package and Ultimate edition of Kentico CMS. For more details please see our feature matrix.
