Chrome - The web site doesn't contain any content
Hi, I don't it it is a bug but I have just noticed that my website says "The web site doesn't contain any content Sign in to CMS desk and edit the content" when I try and view it in Chrome, but it is fine in Internet Explorer. Any ideas?

Hi,

Chrome browser was not officially supported in Kentico CMS 4. However, please check the culture settings of your site and browser, default alias path setting and also if the page template is OK.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Would version 5 work with chrome? We were given an option to upgrade earlier this year so I might take up the offer.

Hi,

In version 5 was the support better but still not 100% :-) However, the upgrade is recommended not only because of the browser but there are many other things. I would recommend upgrade to v6 once you will be upgrading your CMS.

It is a weird problem. Last night I got the instruction to sign into the CMS desk if I viewed it on Chrome. If I signed into the CMS desk and then signed out, I could then view the website with no problems. But if I cleared the web history etc., the "fault" returned.

It is actualy all working fine tonight. (I think most people think I am going a bit mad)

I will be trying to upgrade to version 5.

Hi,

What are your Chrome browser culture settings? If the culture set in the browser is different than the site culture, this error could occur in a random way. However, we fixed this inconsistence in newer version since the older versions were confused which culture to use.
