Friendly URLs
Hello,

I am creating links by following the steps in section 4.4 Creating Links, in the following document:
http://devnet.kentico.com/downloads/4_0/kenticocms_usersguide.pdf

For example:
1. Click the Insert/Edit Link button in the WYSIWYG editor toolbar
2. A new web page dialog opens. Make sure there is the URL option selected in the Link Type drop-down menu and click Browser Server.
3. Select your page from the tree list.

This works fine, however the URL that it generates contains a GUID.

My questions: is there a way to generate friendly URLs (i.e. no GUID). I would also like that the URL never breaks, even if the page location is changed. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Garry

RE:Friendly URLs
Hi,

You can change the link format as described here at the bottom http://www.kentico.com/docs/devguide/creating_links.htm.

But, if you will use the friendly format (without GUID) and the page is moved, the link is no longer valid.

Best Regards,
