RE:Active Directory users and their username
This is going to sound really stupid, but I think I figured out the issue with a little more research.

Internet Explorer must consider the requested URL to be on the intranet (local). If the computer name portion of the requested URL contains periods (such as http://www.microsoft.com and http://10.0.0.1), Internet Explorer assumes that the requested address exists on the Internet and does not pass any credentials automatically. Addresses without periods (such as http://webserver) are considered to be on the intranet (local); Internet Explorer passes credentials automatically. The only exception is addresses included in the Intranet zone in Internet Explorer.

RE:Active Directory users and their username
Hi,

I am sorry for the delay.

We have tested the AD import tool as well as the "classic" AD users import and it is always importing the user names from AD with dash (-) in the user name.
I think I am getting little bit lost in this right now so, if you don't mind describing me the exact steps you are doing, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Best regards,
Juraj Ondrus

RE:Active Directory users and their username
I posted this earlier:

This solved many of our issues. Is there anyway for the CMS to automatically update users info from AD without re-importing?

RE:Active Directory users and their username
Hi,

I am afraid but the users are not automatically updated. You will need to re-import them in periodically.

Best regards,
Juraj Ondrus
