Content Rating for Forum posts?
We have the need to present a "Tips and Tricks" section. I thought it'd be good to use a Forum for this - but then noticed that there was no apparent way to allow content rating of the post. We need to allow each "tip" to be rated by the users.

Is anyone aware of a way to allow ratings of a forum post?

RE:Content Rating for Forum posts?
Hello,

Since forum posts are not documents you need to mark the forum to be "Question & Answer" and then the users can mark the forum post if it was helpful or not.

You can set 'Minimum votes to mark post as answer' for it.

Best regards

RE:Content Rating for Forum posts?
Since this really does need to be a "Tips" posting - rather than "Here's a Questions..." and then people vote on the best reply kind of thing... I'm going to have to figure something else out.

I need to allow something nearly identical to what the 'general discussion' forum offers, yet with a content rating feature for the post(s).

RE:Content Rating for Forum posts?
Hi,

You can for example create custom document type for Tips & Trips. On the T&T page you can place a repeater that will display tips and tricks like news. Since T&T would be documents, you can use standard Content rating. Users would be able to add T&T on the live site.
