Multiple Points in Google Maps for Offices
Is the Google Maps Webpart able to display multiple office on the same map?

I have successfully configured the map to show a single office pin, but I would also like an overview map to show all the offices we have on a single map.

Thank you.

RE:Multiple Points in Google Maps for Offices
Hi,

Yes, it is possible. You can take inspiration in our sample Corporate Site in Company -> Offices section.

The setting is following:

Offices (with page template A)
- Office 1 (inherited page template + content inheritance set to the parent document)
- Office 2 (inherited page template + content inheritance set to the parent document)
- etc.

On the Offices (parent) document is placed the Google Maps web part. The Path property is left blank - this means that the path under the current document is used. Also, the document types setting is set to filter only certain document types (in this case "offices"). So, on the Offices (parent document) are displayed multiple pins.

Also, you can set the Google Maps web part for different path location where the documents are placed.

I hope it makes sense.

Best Regards,

RE:Multiple Points in Google Maps for Offices
In fact, I had started out with the sample Corporate Site, so I should have remembered it was possible.

But in re-designing the layout, the feature has stopped working.

At this point when I try to inherit content from the parent, all the content disappears on that page.

Properties > Template

Inherit content:
Use page template settings [this works for me]
Do not inherit any content
Select inherited levels [all content disappears for me]
Skip Navigation Links.
X Root
X Global Pages
X Offices

RE:Multiple Points in Google Maps for Offices
Well, through alot of trial and error, I got it working.

However, I did not use the "Inherited content: Select inherited levels" setting.

I used the "Inherited content: Use page template settings" for the page which was the only setting that would show the content on the "Office" pages.
