Are you attending Kentico Connections 2013 or just want to see what’s going on? Well I hope you will take a look at the updated Beta of the Kentico Connections 2013 Mobile app! Based on the attendees feedback this year we went with an HTML 5 mobile application code optimized for the webkit-based browsers found on the IOS and Android devices.
This update includes the first our social services!

First thanks to everyone that has sent in feedback! We have managed to hurt a few bugs in the content and some other areas.
What’s New?
One of the things that we wanted to introduce this year was social services for attendees. These social services would allow attendees to engage with the speakers or other attendees. The latest drop contains the first of these that allows the submission of approved questions to a speaker.
Note: This service was implemented using the very cool Azure Mobile Services. For the geeks out there we will publish more information on how these were developed.
If you look at the latest drop on the “Social’ tab you can find an “Ask Speaker Questions” and a “Review Approved Questions” options as you can see below.
If you select the “Ask Speaker Questions” you can submit a question for approval to a speaker by completing the required fields and then selecting Submit Question.
Once we have had a chance to review and approve your question it will become immediately available on the “Review Approved Questions” menu as shown below.
As always if you have any feedback please let me know. Also, If you have any ideas of social services you may find interesting please let us know as well.
