Kentico CMS 5.5 R2 Licensing - Higher Value, Same Price

In the middle of December, we will release Kentico CMS 5.5 R2 with the new Document Management Package that will support the following features:

• Document Management
• WebDAV support for integration with Microsoft Office and other applications
• Project and Task Management

The price of the Document Management Package is $1,499, the same as for the existing packages. So you can purchase 1 Website Base License with Document Management Package for $1,999 + $1,499 = $3,498.

The Document Management Package is also included in the Ultimate License. And here's the good news: there's no change to the Ultimate License price, so you actually get more features for the same price!

The Ultimate License will contain:

Social Networking Package	$1,499
Document Management Package	$1,499
Total	$7,995
Actual Ultimate License price	$4,499 (same as now)

As you can see, the Ultimate License offers the best value for your money!

Existing clients who already own the Ultimate License or purchase it before 5.5 R2 release will get the Document Management Package for free.

Clients who already own the Base License will be able to purchase the Document Management Package for $1,499 or upgrade directly to the Ultimate License just for the price difference and have all the features.

Intranet Licensing

There's no special licensing for intranet scenarios. You will just purchase the license that covers the features you need. A few examples:

• If you just need to publish content on your intranet, you can use the Base License. 
• If you need community or collaboration features, such as Workgroups, Forums or Message Boards, you can buy the Base License with the Social Networking Package. 
• If you want the Document Management features, you can add the Document Management Package. 
• If you need more of these features or if you just want to have a complete feature set for possible future needs, you can go with the Ultimate License.

As you can see, there are no per-user fees. Also, you can create unlimited departmental sites within your intranet site for no extra charge (as long as the departmental sites are part of a single website in the Site Manager).

Kentico Intranet Solution, the ready-to-use intranet site, is included for free, but you will need to purchase the appropriate license for the features you want to use.
